Avoid any laser, IPL, intensive skin treatments, chemical peels, wrinkle relaxers or derma fillers (2 weeks prior) | Cleanse your face with a mild, non-abrasive cleanser to keep the area clean and avoid additional irritation |
Do not use fake tan or tanning products such as self-tanning moisturiser (2 weeks prior), sunbeds (4 weeks prior), and do not use tanning drugs such as Melatonin II (6 months prior) | Refrain from applying any cosmetics to the treated area for the first 48 hours (unless directed by your therapist) |
Avoid prescription topical Vitamin A or Hydroquinone (1 week prior) | Avoid harsh or active skincare products, including retinoids and acids, for a few days to prevent irritation |
Avoid using AHA/BHA products (5 days prior) and avoid any products containing Benzoyl Peroxide (1 week prior) | For at least one week after the treatment, avoid laser hair removal or cosmetic injectables in the treated area |
Unfortunately, if you are breastfeeding or pregnant, we won't be able to proceed with this treatment | Direct sun exposure to the treated area should be avoided for up to 48 hours. You may resume using SPF50+ 24 hours after the procedure |
Avoid strenuous exercise or any heat-based activities such as saunas, spas, or steam rooms for 5 days after your treatment | |
